Polman Astra become the Best Practice Seminar of Revitalization of the Vocational Education in Indonesia

Located at Prasetya Mulya University, on July 17, 2019 a national seminar of the Revitalization of Vocational Education in Indonesia was initiated by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Ristek Dikti) in collaboration with Embassy of Indonesia-Swiss and Indonesian Chamber Of Commerce & Industry. The seminar that attended by Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Prof. H. Mohamad Nasir, Ph.D., Ak. as well as the representation of vocational high school from all around Indonesia was presented the best practice of vocational higher education, one of them are Polman Astra.

Tony Harley Silalahi, as Director of Polman Astra shared the experience of the implementation of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education Training) in Polman Astra that known as Astra Dual System. This information sharing is hopefully can add more insight of the participants, that coincidentally are from Indonesian High School, on the importance of synergy between industrial world with higher education world in order to prepare the high quality students that parallels with the demand of the job market in the future.

Tony also introduced the newest sertification program in the automotive area which is Mister program to at least 200 participants who present at that time.
