Competency Of Study Program

In order to face the rapid development of technology, the Study Program of making equipment and production tools of the Astra Polytechnic updates the vision, mission and educational goals in order to compete in the challenges of graduate uptake and graduate user satisfaction in the industrial era 4.0, as well as to be relevant to the statute of the institution and the Strategic Plan of the Astra Polytechnic.

To be an excellent study Program in the field of manufacturing mechanical engineering, especially in manufacturing technology and design of production equipment & tools that support the development of present and future industries.

Mission

Carry out engineering education that emphasizes Engineering Science in mechanical engineering, especially the design, manufacture, and maintenance of production equipment & tools that support the application of present and future industrial systems.
Carry out and improve research activities that are the development and / or application of Engineering Science in the field of mechanical engineering, especially the design, manufacture, and maintenance of production equipment & tools in the framework of the development of industrial manufacturing technology today and in the future.
Carrying out community service by utilizing Engineering Science in mechanical engineering, especially the design, manufacture, and maintenance of production equipment & tools to build a society with insight into present and future industrial manufacturing technology.
Carry out cooperation with agencies and industries within the Astra Group and nationally to support the creation of links and matches between educational institutions and agencies or graduate user industries.

Graduate Profile

Manufacturing Process Engineer

Ahli Madya yang mempunyai pengetahuan dan keahlian yang cukup sehingga mampu melakukan berbagai macam proses manufaktur sistem mekanik perkakas produksi, dengan mesin-mesin manual, mesin berbasis numerical control dan CAD/CAM.

Maintenance Tools and Machine Engineer

Ahli Madya yang mampu melakukan pemeliharaan terhadap mold, dies dan mesin-mesin perkakas serta menganalisa macam-macam kerusakannya.

Project Engineer

Ahli Madya yang berperan dan bertanggung jawab dalam menyelesaikan proyek rekayasa peralatan dan perkakas produksi seperti jig-fixture, mold, press dies dan special purpose tools/machine dengan merencanakan/PPIC, mengatur dan mengendalikan semua elemen proyek (PDCA & OCDSM).

Quality Control

Ahli Madya yang mampu melakukan proses pengukuran dan kontrol kualitas serta menganalisa data hasil pengukuran untuk peralatan mekanik dan perkakas produksi dengan coordinat measuring machine

Research Engineer

Ahli Madya yang mampu berperan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ilmu dan rekayasa peralatan dan perkakas produksi seperti jig-fixture, mold, press dies dan special purpose tools/machine.

Technopreneur

Wirausahawan yang memanfaatkan teknologi untuk melakukan inovasi usaha dibidang peralatan dan perkakas produksi seperti jig- fixture, mold, press dies dan special purpose tools/machine.

Design Engineer

Ahli Madya yang mempunyai pengetahuan dan keahlian yang cukup sehingga mampu merancang peralatan dan perkakas produksi seperti jig-fixture, mold, press dies dan special purpose tools/machine.
